Job description

Cooks will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Perform daily cleaning of restaurant kitchen work area including cleaning your assigned food preparation area, equipment, work surfaces, and serving area, using a hand towel, soap, sanitizer, and any necessary cleaning agents. Cooks must be able to lift and carry overhead up to 50 lbs.

• The petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least six (6) months of culinary experience in a fine-dining or high volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Individuals who did not work for the company within the last 90 days before their new start date must complete pre-employment background check and drug screening. Cooks must be able to lift and carry overhead up to 50 lbs. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must have or be able to get ServSafe Certification. Must complete Human Trafficking Training and Blood Borne Pathogens Training upon Hire.
• On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train.
• Days and Shifts: Following Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work hours from: 3:00am-11:00am/ 5:00am-1:30pm/ 8:00am-3:30pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm, shift hours may vary based on the time of the season, daylight, and need.
• Hourly Wage: $17.88 to $23.50 per hour (based on merit and past experience with our company)
• Overtime Possible: Overtime may be available at $26.82 to $35.25 per hour.
• Individuals who did not work for the company within the last 90 days before their new start date must complete pre- employment background check and drug screening.
• Employees may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of a discretionary season-end bonus, as well as service charges- take out.
